Dr. Yehiel Shabi, Orientalist, Bar Ilan University: "In September, Biden proposed to make an alternative route to the Suez Canal with the passage of goods through Saudi Arabia to Israel. The normalization process we were supposed to go through with Saudi Arabia threatened Iran, Russia, China, and it was natural for them to use their proxies to stop it."
